1. What Are Cookies & Session Identifiers?
Cookies and HTTP session storage tokens (such as JSON Web Tokens / JWT) are used to maintain secure, authenticated sessions while navigating across multi-tenant accounting client workspaces.
2. Essential vs. Preference Cookies
Essential / Strictly Necessary Cookies
Required for multi-tenant security, login state persistence, and CSRF protection. Without these, secure portal access is impossible.
Preference & White-Label Cookies
Remembers your CPA firm primary brand color, logo cache, and active client context selection for seamless return visits.
3. No Advertising & Third-Party Ad Tracking
LeuBooks does not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking scripts. We never sell or trade your browsing activity or accounting data to ad networks.
4. Storing Consent Timestamps
When a CPA Firm Administrator signs up or accepts terms on behalf of their firm, our system records an audit log containing the exact UTC consent timestamp (`termsAcceptedAt`, `privacyAcceptedAt`, `cookieAcceptedAt`), user ID, and firm ID.
